Program Direction
Transformations at Jupiter Counseling believes that group therapy forms the core component of treatment in a substance abuse intensive outpatient treatment program. The group is led by Master’s level clinicians that have years of experience within the alcohol and drug abuse field.
What to Expect
During group therapy sessions, teens will have the opportunity to interact with other peers that are experiencing substance abuse issues. A variety of topics are covered in group therapy sessions that include family, spiritual, physical and emotional problems. Transformations believes that group therapy is a safe place to begin discussing delicate topics and build trusting relationships with others.
Individual and family therapy is another integral part of Transformation’s Intensive Outpatient Treatment program. On a weekly basis clients are able to participate in these sessions and work towards goals with their individual counselor. Individual sessions are a great way to work towards treatment goals and other recovery needs.
Transformations at Jupiter Counseling is also pleased to announce a new interactive family educational group. This group allows all clients and their families to meet with each other on a weekly basis and begin building community support while learning essential communication and recovery tools.
